The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra continued its Sensory Friendly Program in 2017, its third year, with the Music of Flight and Fantasy on June 17. Guest conductor Lawrence Loh led the orchestra through a musical celebration featuring works of John Williams and others, and celebrating the power of imagination. The Pittsburgh Symphony’s Sensory Friendly Performance is a family-friendly concert held in a welcoming, inclusive and relaxed environment designed especially for patrons of all ages, and especially those individuals with autism spectrum disorders, sensory sensitivities and other different abilities. This video takes a look back at this year’s concert – we hope to see you and your family next year!
