It’s hard to believe that after a year of planning, we are now just one month away from our first sensory-friendly performance, “Celebrate Pittsburgh.” We are so excited to present this concert for you and can’t wait to have you come enjoy the music with us!
To help you prepare for the performance, we’ve created a series of three videos, included below, that feature Resident Conductor Lawrence Loh, who will conduct the show, and Associate Principal Cello David Premo, one of the musicians you will see onstage. They will tell you all about the music, guest artists, and David’s cello. You’ll even get to hear David play a beautiful Bach solo and learn how to conduct the orchestra during its final musical selection: Stars and Stripes Forever!
Keep following our blog in the coming weeks as we share additional concert preparation resources, including an instrument picture schedule and pre-visit stories about the experience of coming to Heinz Hall.
